Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) builds a relationship between you and your farmer. CSA members pay the cost of their membership upfront, which provides farmers with the financial security needed to purchase seeds, repair equipment, make infrastructure investments, assess labor costs, etc. In exchange for joining in advance, members have access to the most delicious, nutrient-dense produce, eggs and beef -
grown with love on our property from start to finish!
We’re delighted to invite you to join Spring Creek Farm’s CSA. We grow delicious Certified Organic produce, create beautiful fresh flower bouquets, raise grass fed beef and pastured broiler chickens, and provide certified organic eggs from pastured hens. All are available to our members at our onsite market throughout the summer and fall. Our season runs from the first week in June through the last weekend in October.
We offer three different CSA membership options to choose from:
Flexible Market Share - An alternative to the traditional CSA ‘box share’, providing you more flexibility in buying. Use your member dollars to purchase what you want, when you want it!
Here’s how the Flexible Market Share membership works:
Members choose a CSA Farm Card in the value that meets their needs:
Farm Cards are like debit cards, and can be spent on your choice of in-season vegetables, grass fed beef, pastured chicken and eggs, and any other items we offer inside the market. A big benefit of the flexible CSA is that you won’t miss out if you’re away on vacation or can’t make it to the farm. You get to decide how your member dollars are spent, and can shop as much or as little as you need! Want three pounds of tomatoes for a recipe? A small cabbage for slaw? Six steaks for a cookout? We got you covered!
All members receive a 15% discount off the listed price of all market items. So, if you buy a bunch of kale for $3, what you pay as a member is actually $2.55.
You can check the status of your member dollars at any time, and if your balance runs out, we can always reload your farm card during the season. Please keep in mind, balances do not carry over from one year to the next. Any unused dollars will expire when the season is over at the end of October.
Traditional Box Share - Approximately $25 of fresh produce each week. This is a set box based on what is available each week, and we cannot make substutions to the contents. This is great for folks who want the decision-making taken care of, and are open to trying new foods! Members have the option to pick up their box share at the farm each Friday, or to opt for Home Delivery for an additional $100 charge (that's less than $5/week for home delivery).
Winter Share - Our winter share extends the supply of farm fresh produce through the months of November and December after our traditional CSA season ends in October. The share is a traditional box share of vegetables delivered to your home on Friday each week for the 8 weeks from November through Christmas week. (SOLD OUT for the 2020 Season)
